Minneapolis, MN – SitelogIQ, Inc. (“SitelogIQ”), a leading energy services and facility improvement solutions provider to the public sector and commercial and industrial end markets, today announced the acquisition of Path Company (“Path”), a NAESCO accredited energy services company serving the municipal and higher education markets in the Southeastern U.S. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Established in 2017 by Russ Phillips and Nathan Wells, Path has quickly grown into a leading provider of energy services with a reputation for high-quality offerings and exceptional customer service. Path serves state and local governments, K-12 schools, and higher education institutions, executing energy savings projects across energy management control systems, building and street lighting, water efficiency, HVAC, and renewable power. Path was approved by the U.S. Department of Energy as an Energy Services Company (“ESCO”) in 2021 and accredited by NAESCO in 2022.

This strategic acquisition combines two best-in-class businesses with complementary service offerings to create a leading provider of energy services solutions across public and private end markets. With the addition of Path, SitelogIQ expands its market reach – serving public sector customers in six additional southeastern states – and is positioned to provide a broader range of service offerings to new and existing customers, including streetlighting LED conversions. Path’s co-founders and experienced management team will continue to lead the business day-to-day.

“We are excited to welcome Russ, Nathan, and the entire Path team to SitelogIQ,” said Kelly Schuller, SitelogIQ Chief Executive Officer. “The addition of Path significantly expands our deep bench of talent, highly specialized building and infrastructure improvement service offerings, and network of customers. With this strategic combination, we’re confident SitelogIQ is poised to deliver even greater value to existing and new customers across the U.S., while continuing to thoughtfully expand our footprint.”

“We are thrilled to join forces with the SitelogIQ team, who shares our values and commitment to customer service and providing unparalleled energy savings offerings,” said Russ Phillips, Co-Founder of Path. Path Co-Founder Nathan Wells added, “This partnership is all about taking care of our people and delivering greater value for our customers. As part of SitelogIQ, we will have the expanded resources and support to invest more deeply in our team and capabilities, and we look forward to continuing to grow our business.”

For 25 years, Reynolds Enterprises served the construction, renovation, and building needs of their clients. As they embark on the next 25 years, they are proud to announce their integration with SitelogIQ, the largest privately-owned, full-service facility design, engineering, construction, management, energy, and lighting solutions company in the U.S. While their name is changing, their relationships with their trusted partners are not. The same team that has delivered excellent solutions for their clients in the past will continue to deliver the same great results, but instead of seeing the Reynolds name and logo you will see their new name: SitelogIQ. By joining a larger organization, they will benefit from the additional resources afforded to them. New Name. Same Team. Additional Resources.

What changes can I expect to see from Reynolds now that it’s SitelogIQ?

Not many! SitelogIQ will continue to offer energy, construction, engineering, commissioning, and restoration services throughout the mid-Atlantic while having the opportunity to pursue larger projects backed by the strength of the platform’s equity. Working together allows SitelogIQ’s divisions to share best practices and enhance their delivery of innovative solutions to bring clients even more value. While Reynolds’ name is changing, their relationships with their trusted partners are not.

Changes you may have noticed, or will see over the course of the next few months, include new email addresses and business cards, new letterhead and related correspondence, and various materials with SitelogIQ’s name and logo. Join us on Twitter and LinkedIn to stay up-to-date on SitelogIQ East news. Visit our website for information about SitelogIQ’s services, team, projects, or to contact us.

Two SitelogIQ Projects Honored with Lead by Example Clean Energy Project Awards by Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources https://www.sitelogiq.com/news/sitelogiq-facility-solutions-awarded-by-rhode-island-governor/ Thu, 20 Jun 2019 08:05:00 +0000 https://sitelogiq.wpenginepowered.com/?post_type=news&p=6378 The post Two SitelogIQ Projects Honored with Lead by Example Clean Energy Project Awards by Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources appeared first on SitelogIQ.

SitelogIQ, a national provider of facility solutions announced today that on June 14, 2019, the Rhode Island Office of Energy Resources selected two of its Government Solutions’ projects to receive Lead By Example Clean Energy Project awards. The awards honor Rhode Island cities, towns, schools, state and quasi-public agencies, and colleges and universities for leading by example with their clean energy projects. SitelogIQ was recognized for energy efficiency projects that supported the City of Woonsocket and Rhode Island College.

These projects are examples of Governor Raimondo’s plan to make her state more economically competitive by supporting energy efficiency and renewable energy projects that will help businesses, residents, and municipalities save money on their energy bills.

The City of Woonsocket Energy Efficiency Program includes a public-private partnership to implement various energy strategies throughout the City over the past five years. In 2014, the City selected SitelogIQ (formerly ADI Energy) to be its energy efficiency partner. The program started with field inspections of the ten city buildings and street lighting impacted, and a the collaboration on the City’s Sustainability Plan. Since then, various projects have been designed and built based on an infrastructure priority and funding availability basis. Funds were leveraged through National Grid’s Project Expediter Program and Woonsocket’s City budget to upgrade systems and save energy. The $670,000 pilot project included new boilers at City Hall and the Harris Library, new LED ornamental street lighting and controls for both buildings. Using incentives provided by National Grid, the next project phase is estimated at $5 million and addresses critical infrastructure needs at the City’s four fire stations and the Senior Center with expanded energy management controls, new HVAC systems, and new LED lighting. The balance of the municipal buildings, including the Museum, Department of Public Works, Police Headquarters, and City-wide Street Lighting have identified opportunities for future energy savings with expanded controls, retro-commissioning, HVAC duct repairs, and insulation, new boilers, solar PV, and new LED lighting.

The pilot project is producing over $1.2 million in energy savings over its lifetime and reduced electricity usage by an impressive 38 percent. It reduces both the City Hall and Library’s carbon footprint by 5,400 tons of CO2 over the life of the equipment. According to the EPA Equivalences Calculator, the carbon reduction over the life of the equipment equates to a carbon reduction of 4,017 acres of US forest or not driving an average passenger vehicle over 11 million miles.

At Rhode Island College, SitelogIQ (again, formerly ADI Energy) was selected in 2017 to develop, construct and commission a $3.0 million infrastructure upgrade including interior and exterior LED lighting upgrades to 28 campus buildings representing 940,000 square feet of building space and 227 exterior lighting poles. This project was designed to provide energy efficiency and quality light for the students and staff, and consisted of upgrading the interior fixtures with a cost effective retrofit approach. LED lighting technology was utilized for the outdoor fixtures which provides high quality light and a long-life solution that virtually eliminates maintenance requirements for these new fixtures. Additionally, SitelogIQ provided variable frequency drives for pumps and motors, and 13,055 retrofits which will deliver $415,500 in annual savings to the college. SitelogIQ was also responsible for capturing over $953,000 of utility incentives for the college and securing utility on-bill repayment for the remaining cost of the project.
