It\u2019s easy to recognize because as I demonstrated earlier, it looks like a guy stretching his arms out.<br \/>\nA: You\u2019ll hear \u5927 being spoken often too. For example often say \u201c\u6b22\u8fce\u5927\u5bb6\u6536\u770b\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u8282\u76ee\u201d at the beginning of our video, which means \u201cwe welcome everyone to watch our show\u201d.<br \/>\nN: Can you give us some more examples?<br \/>\nA: Yeah, \u201c\u6df1\u5733\u662f\u4e2a\u5927\u57ce\u5e02\u201d which means \u201cShenzhen is a big city\u201d.<br \/>\nN: So let\u2019s take a look at those videos from you this week!<\/p>\n<p>N: Did you see how many \u201c\u5927\u53a6\u201d examples were there?!<br \/>\nA: I did, and I\u2019m glad that many of you are writing the character yourselves!<br \/>\nN: Are you ready for this week\u2019s character?<br \/>\nA: Yeah, what is it?<br \/>\nN: Well, this week we\u2019re going to be looking at \u624b<br \/>\nA: Oh. \u624b commonly means hand and usually we see signs for \u201c\u6d17\u624b\u95f4\u201d.<br \/>\nN: Uh oh, does that mean we\u2019re gonna get a lot of toilet pictures this week?!<br \/>\nA: No pictures inside the bathroom please\u2026<br \/>\nN: Alright, Allen. Are you ready to write \u624b\uff1f<br \/>\nA: Yep, let\u2019s go to the board!<\/p>\n<p>A: Ok guys, this week I want to show you how to write the \u624b character. \u624b is a very common radical, so I think it\u2019s a good character to learn to write. OK, lets get started.<br \/>\n\u624b has four strokes. The first one is what we call in Chinese: pie, which is a curving radical from right to left. Then the second stroke and the third stroke we say is heng in Chinese, like this. The last stroke is a stroke from top to bottom. OK, that\u2019s the \u624b character on the board. Are you ready to write \u624b\uff1f<br \/>\nA: Yep, let\u2019s go to the board!<\/p>\n<p>A: Ok guys, this week I want to show you how to write the \u624b character. \u624b is a very common radical, so I think it\u2019s a good character to learn to write. OK, lets get started.<br \/>\n\u624b has four strokes. The first one is what we call in Chinese: pie, which is a curving radical from right to left. Then the second stroke and the third stroke we say is heng in Chinese, like this. The last stroke is a stroke from top to bottom. OK, that\u2019s the \u624b character on the board.
