Of course, many of these homophones, especially the more humorous ones and those involving numbers and been created by modern-day netizens who appreciate slang and being slightly risque with their use of language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chinese Homophones to Use Online<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The following words are used purely for fun whilst chatting online. You can just replace the normal meaning with the second to make the subject matter more lighthearted and amusing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 (\u00e8r) \u7231 (\u00e0i)<\/strong> – 2 (\u00e8r) sounds a little bit like \u00e0i\u2026and \u7231 means love, so you can say 521 (w\u01d4 \u00e8r y\u012b) or 520 (w\u01d4 \u00e8r l\u00edng)<\/strong> – I love you. 521 and 520 sounds like \u6211\u7231\u4f60 (w\u01d2 \u00e0i n\u01d0).
9494 (ji\u01d4 s\u00ec ji\u01d4 s\u00ec)<\/strong> – \u5c31\u662f\u5c31\u662f (ji\u00f9 sh\u00ec ji\u00f9 sh\u00ec) 9494 is used to say something like \u2018For sure!\u2019 or \u2018Definitely!
