What information do we collect? <\/span><\/h1>\n

Your name. Why? Because you probably prefer us to call you by your name rather than something like user #47439, no one likes to be a number.<\/span><\/p>\n

Your email address. Why do we need your email if you don\u2019t want to get our Chinese study hacks newsletter? Our services allow you to sync your data to our servers- data such as Chinese flashcard sets and study goal progress. Why would you want to do that? Well, are you thinking of getting the new iPhone but your current phone is an Android? Don\u2019t worry! We can port all of your data over to a different device. Anything you\u2019ve purchased will also be synced so that you won\u2019t have to buy it again if you change from iOS to Android. We\u2019d also like to note that you don\u2019t HAVE to give us your email. You can use a lot of features without it. But we have designed our study system to save your progress, and for that we need a way to identify whose study progress belongs to whom. The email is the unique identifier that we use to know that you are you.<\/span><\/p>\n

When purchasing a product, especially a non-digital product, you may be asked to enter your address. This is so we can ship you whatever you\u2019ve ordered.<\/span><\/p>\n
