met.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u8981\u662f (y\u00e0o shi) and \u5982\u679c (r\u00fa gu\u01d2) are mainly used in spoken and written Chinese, whereas \u5047\u5982 (ji\u01ce r\u00fa) is more likely to be used in formal speech or written Chinese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u5047\u4f7f (ji\u01ce sh\u01d0), \u5018\u82e5 (t\u01ceng ru\u00f2) and \u5018\u4f7f (t\u01ceng sh\u01d0) are usually found in formal written Chinese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is no word in Chinese that specifically expresses \u2019then\u2018, but the adverb <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dictionary.writtenchinese.com\/worddetail\/jiu\/249\/1\/1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u5c31<\/a><\/span>&nbsp;(ji\u00f9) is usually added to the second clause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a
